I've been lazy

I've been lazy lately and haven't posted, and last week I had family visiting. Here are some pics I took while we were at the Virginia Zoo last week! We had a great time and the weather was perfect, low 80's. There is a beautiful garden there so, of coarse, I had to take some pics of the flowers! I got a few of the kids too, but Isaac was up to his old tricks so I didn't get too many good ones.

Fresh Flowers

I planted bulbs for the first time this year, and I have some calalilly's coming up! This one is actually bright yellow but I had the camera settings on black and white. I had just watered it, so pretty!

The Sweetest Thing

I don't know how I somehow managed to get this on film. I think it is one of the best pictures I have ever taken. We were just being silly taking pics of ourselves and somehow this happened. I love it!

I got lucky

Photobucket

He finally gave me a smile, that wasn't followed by a silly face! This is my handsome boy, the one who jumps off the back of the couch, plays video games for hours on end, and steals cookies when I'm not looking. He is also the same boy who gets upset when his sister won't give him a hug or kiss, or when daddy leaves without saying good bye. He is growing up so fast but he is still my baby boy.

La-La

Photobucket

Sarah was pointing outside saying, "La-La", I thought, how cute she's singing. It turns out la-la is her word for water. She wanted to get in the little pool we have out in the back yard. So we eat breakfast and go outside, totally disregarding the "no swimming for 2 hours after you eat" rule. We hadn't been out in a few days and the kids had a ton of fun. It seems, though, all she wanted was to lay down in the water and relax. That's a girl for ya!

He used to be so photogenic...

Photobucket
I remember when every picture I snapped was a great one. Now, well, you see what happens. This is what can happen to a lovely smile in the instant that my finger pushes the button. Complete silliness, that is my boy.
